Vitesco’s new EV power electronics plant in Czech Republic

Vitesco Technologies has announced a new production plant coming to Ostrava-Hrušov, Czech Republic.

Vitesco plans to manufacture their advanced power electronics system here, which combines an inverter, onboard charger, rapid charging module, and energy distribution unit all in one module for European carmakers.

onsemi Rožnov pod Radhoštěm will provide silicon carbide-based semiconductors, building on an already announced global partnership valued at 1.75 billion euros.
