InstaVolt, a rapid EV charging network, and Plugsurfing, a charging platform, have announced a partnership to rollout European charging stations.
The companies will add 1,350 nationwide InstaVolt charge points to Plugsurfing’s existing network of nearly 30,000 charge points in the UK and over 600,000 in Europe.
Plugsurfing allows EV drivers to search for, access, and pay for charging, as well as plan their routes. The platform offers a seamless digital experience for charging and driving, providing access to one of the most extensive EV charging networks in the UK. Customers can order a personal charging card or key, enabling easy payment at any partner charging station in Europe. Carmakers and mobility providers can also offer their customers access to Plugsurfing’s network through white-label services or via integrations with Drive API.
InstaVolt chargers are now available to drivers of leading electric car manufacturers, such as JLR, Renault, and Polestar, whose charging services are powered by Plugsurfing. Plugsurfing is part of Fleetcor, a global business payments company that aims to help businesses reduce expenses by providing innovative solutions that enable and control expense-related purchasing and payment processes.
