Kawasaki Robotics, a manufacturer of industrial robots, has introduced the BA013N Compact Welding Robot to the North American market.
The BA013N model, like its predecessors in the BA series, offers a wider working range, faster cycle times, longer reach, and increased torque. It also marks a new generation in the Kawasaki welding robot series, following the release of the BA006N/L models in 2015. The BA013N stands out with its 13 kg payload capacity, compact movement range, and hollow wrist structure. This design allows for easy management of cables and hoses around the torch, ensuring stable wire feeding and reliable offline teaching. The robot and welder are connected with a single cable.
The BA013N arc welding robot has a minimum reach of 490 mm and a maximum reach of 1,492 mm. Its main specifications include 6 axes, a positional repeatability of ±0.04 mm, and a product weight of 260 kg.
